How to request deletion
There are two ways:
On WhatsApp. Message HAI with something like "delete all my data". HAI records when the request arrived and passes it to us. We do not delete automatically, because deletion is irreversible: we want to confirm the request is genuine and that you know what disappears.
By email. Write to matti@haisocialagency.com from the phone number or email address you gave us.
We confirm receipt and complete the deletion without undue delay, and within one month at the latest (GDPR Article 17).
What is deleted
We permanently remove:
- your profile: name, company, title, field, LinkedIn URL, brand voice, and the style profile HAI built from your writing
- every conversation you have had with HAI
- all drafts and posts, including scheduled ones
- anything stored from your voice notes and images
- your usage statistics and cost records
- your LinkedIn access token from encrypted storage (Vault)
- error logs and request logs that identify you
- your marketing list entry, if you joined the waiting list and tell us the email address you used
What is anonymised
Some technical logs are needed to keep the system running and to track costs. For these we strip the identifier that points to you and keep the row itself: execution logs, cost logs, and the change log. Afterwards they cannot be traced back to you.
What remains, and why
Two things survive on purpose, and we would rather say so plainly:
The consent log. We keep an append-only record of when you gave and withdrew consent. Deletion adds a final entry to it: consent withdrawn, reason being erasure. That record contains your phone number. We keep it because we must be able to demonstrate that we processed your data lawfully and that we honoured your request.
Your deletion request. The request itself and the notes on how it was handled remain. It is the evidence that the request was received and answered.
Both rest on GDPR Article 17(3), which permits retention where it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Handled separately
Email list. If you subscribed to our newsletter, we remove you from there too. That happens by hand in a separate system (MailerLite), so it can take slightly longer than the rest.
LinkedIn. We delete the access token, after which HAI can no longer reach your account. Posts already published stay on LinkedIn, because they live on your profile and belong to you. You can remove them yourself. You can also disconnect HAI at any time from your own LinkedIn settings.
WhatsApp. We delete our copy of the conversation. The thread on your phone is on your device and outside our control, so you can delete that yourself.
Your other rights
Deletion is not the only option. You can also ask for:
- a copy of your data in a machine-readable format (Articles 15 and 20). We deliver it through a secure single-use download link.
- correction of anything inaccurate (Article 16)
- an end to proactive messages without deleting anything. Just tell HAI you would rather not get reminders.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Miten pyydät tietojesi poistamista
Voit pyytää tietojesi poistamista kahdella tavalla:
WhatsAppissa. Kirjoita HAI:lle esimerkiksi "poista kaikki tietoni". HAI kirjaa pyynnön saapumisajan ja välittää sen meille. Emme poista tietoja automaattisesti, koska poisto on peruuttamaton: haluamme varmistaa, että pyyntö on aito ja että ymmärrät mitä katoaa.
Sähköpostilla. Lähetä viesti osoitteeseen matti@haisocialagency.com siitä puhelinnumerosta tai sähköpostiosoitteesta, jonka olet meille antanut.
Vahvistamme pyynnön vastaanoton ja toteutamme poiston ilman aiheetonta viivytystä, viimeistään kuukauden kuluessa pyynnöstä (EU:n yleinen tietosuoja-asetus, artikla 17).
Mitä poistetaan
Poistamme pysyvästi:
- käyttäjäprofiilisi: nimi, yritys, titteli, toimiala, LinkedIn-osoite, brändiääni ja HAI:n sinusta muodostama tyyliprofiili
- kaikki keskustelusi HAI:n kanssa
- kaikki luonnokset ja julkaisut, myös ajastetut
- ääniviestien ja kuvien pohjalta tallennetut tiedot
- käyttötilastosi ja kustannustietosi
- LinkedIn-yhteyden pääsytunnisteen salatusta säilytyksestä (Vault)
- virhelokit ja pyyntölokit, joissa sinut voi tunnistaa
- markkinointilistan tietosi, jos olet liittynyt odotuslistalle ja kerrot meille sähköpostiosoitteesi
Mitä anonymisoidaan
Osa teknisistä lokeista on tarpeen järjestelmän toiminnan ja kustannusseurannan takia. Näistä poistetaan sinuun viittaava tunniste, mutta itse rivi jää: suoritus- ja kustannuslokit sekä muutosloki. Poiston jälkeen niistä ei voi tunnistaa sinua.
Mitä jää jäljelle, ja miksi
Kaksi asiaa säilyy tarkoituksella, ja haluamme sanoa sen suoraan:
Suostumusloki. Pidämme muuttumatonta lokia siitä, milloin olet antanut ja peruuttanut suostumuksesi. Poiston yhteydessä siihen kirjataan uusi merkintä: suostumus peruttu, syynä tietojen poisto. Loki sisältää puhelinnumerosi. Säilytämme sen, koska meidän on pystyttävä osoittamaan, että olemme käsitelleet tietojasi luvallisesti ja noudattaneet pyyntöäsi.
Poistopyyntösi. Itse pyyntö ja sen käsittelymerkinnät jäävät. Se on todiste siitä, että pyyntö otettiin vastaan ja hoidettiin.
Nämä perustuvat tietosuoja-asetuksen artiklaan 17(3), joka sallii säilyttämisen silloin kun se on tarpeen lakisääteisen velvoitteen noudattamiseksi tai oikeudellisen vaateen laatimiseksi ja puolustamiseksi.
Erikseen hoidettavat
Sähköpostilista. Jos olet tilannut uutiskirjeemme, poistamme sinut myös sieltä. Tämä tehdään käsin erillisessä järjestelmässä (MailerLite), joten se voi kestää hieman kauemmin kuin muun aineiston poisto.
LinkedIn. Poistamme LinkedIn-yhteyden pääsytunnisteen, jolloin HAI ei enää pääse tilillesi. Jo julkaistut postaukset jäävät LinkedIniin, koska ne ovat sinun profiilillasi ja sinun omaisuuttasi. Voit poistaa ne itse LinkedInissä. Voit myös milloin tahansa katkaista yhteyden LinkedInin omista asetuksista.
WhatsApp. Poistamme oman kopiomme keskusteluista. Puhelimesi WhatsApp-keskustelu on sinun laitteellasi eikä meidän hallinnassamme, joten voit poistaa sen itse.
Muut oikeutesi
Poisto ei ole ainoa vaihtoehto. Voit myös pyytää:
- kopion tiedoistasi koneluettavassa muodossa (artikla 15 ja 20). Toimitamme sen suojatun kertakäyttöisen latauslinkin kautta.
- virheellisten tietojen korjaamista (artikla 16)
- proaktiivisten viestien lopettamista ilman että mitään poistetaan. Sano vain HAI:lle, ettet halua muistutuksia.
